How to Hjust & Vjust Aesthetics
Aesthetic parameters hjust and vjust are used for text layers
(geom_text, geom_label) and defines horizontal and vertical
justification. Values can be set as text or numeric:
- hjust "top" (1), "middle" (0.5), "bottom" (0)
- vjust "left" (0), "center" (0.5), "right" (1)
Examples of hjust and vjust are on the following figure.
In addition, there are two special alignments – inward and outward.
Inward always aligns text towards the center, and outward aligns
it away from the center. Examples of these special alignment cases
are on the following figures.
